Any prospective or registered Unisa student can submit a query through our e-guidance service. Alumni are also welcome to contact us.
Our e-guidance service can assist you with:
your career decision-making and choices (including how to and information about careers)
how to structure your studies to complement your career choice(s)
planning and managing your studies at Unisa
developing your employability (networking; job-searching; CV-writing; interview skills; career portfolios and CV-writing)
If we find that we are not able to assist you, we will refer you to the appropriate section in the University or to an external organisation. We might also refer you to on-line resources or contact you telephonically should your enquiry warrant it.
Please note that if you have used this service previously, we can not guarantee that you will be contacted by the same person again. All our counsellors can view your previous enquiries as to ensure that our feedback is consistent.
Only Directorate for Counselling, Career & Academic Development staff have access to stored client records such as e-mail queries and feedback. All staff adhere to the Ethical rules of conduct for practitioners registered under the Health Professions Act, 1974 and take seriously the confidentiality of all client records and other related client documents.
